Casting Accumulator / Cooling Conveyors

These conveyors are designed to hold an hour or more of casting production for cooling. Air is passed through a lower plenum through the bed of castings and exhausted out the top of the dust hoods. These units start and stop automatically to create a bed of castings and provide the necessary dwell time for cooling.

A proprietary trough design allows the troughs to expand in length and width is incorporated in these units. This highly efficient approach eliminates the need to stage numerous casting crates around the plant saving space, forklift traffic and the labor to move these crates.
