Multi-Directional Conveyors

Conveyor Dynamics manufactures a wide variety of bi-directional and multi-directional conveyors for use in foundries and other applications. Multi-directional conveyors are often used to channel castings or other materials to different areas for processing or aid in the process of sending rejected parts to quarantine.

Typical units feature a single drive with a connecting link to power another conveyor going in the opposite direction, one conveyor on top of another or 90 degrees to the main directional flow. These conveyors offer solutions to plant layout problems and save space and energy. Each conveyor is tuned independently for the load / task.

A great example has one conveyor moving sand and castings with a perforated deck so that the sand can pass through to a lower conveyor that is running in the opposite direction of the castings.
